Irrigation spring start-up — from $95
Zone-by-zone test, head adjustment and controller set for the season. Winterization is the same. Repairs quoted on what we find.
Low-voltage lighting service — from $95
Re-aim, re-lamp and timer reset. New installs are design-build work, not a plan add-on.
Aeration + overseeding (fall) is quoted separately on every plan — it depends on turf type and square footage. Mulch volumes above cover typical bed footprints; unusually large beds are measured and confirmed in your quote.
Per-visit vs. season contract
Two honest ways to pay
Contracts aren’t a trap — they’re how the fertilization sequence, pruning windows, and route slots stay guaranteed. But per-visit is a real option, not a punishment tier.
Per visit — The Cut

The trade-off: add-ons like mulch and leaf cleanup are quoted at standalone rates.
Season contract — Beds + Turf, Estate Care
- One flat monthly price, March–November
- Roughly 15% under the same work à la carte
- Prorated if you move mid-season
- Renews only if you say yes — no auto-rollover
The trade-off: it’s a season commitment, because the turf program only works as a sequence.
Plan questions
The fine print, out loud
What if it rains on my visit day?
We shift your visit to the next dry day and text you the new time. Weather delays never stack — the route catches up within the week, and per-visit clients aren’t charged for skipped weeks.
Do I need to be home?
No. Most clients never see us. Unlock the gate (or give us the code), and you’ll get a photo of the finished yard and the latched gate every visit.
Can I start mid-season?
Yes. The Cut starts any week. Beds + Turf and Estate Care prorate from your start month; if you join after a fertilization step has passed, we catch the lawn up at cost.
What happens December through February?
Mowing pauses. Estate Care includes the leaf program into December; winter is when we prune dormant trees, refresh hardscape joints, and book spring projects. Contract billing stops in the off-season — no “12-month smoothing” unless you ask for it.
Is there a discount for neighbors?
Yes — routes are the whole economics of mowing. Two or more adjacent homes on the same visit day each save 10% off the per-visit price. Bring the cul-de-sac and we’ll talk.
