Because the hour is with the surgeon, not a salesperson. The $150 covers a 60-minute examination and planning session with Dr. Marlowe, and it is credited toward your surgery if you proceed. It also means the people in the waiting room are serious, which keeps the schedule honest for everyone.
How does the itemized quote work?
After your consultation, you receive one written document listing the surgeon’s fee, the operating facility, and anesthesia, summed to a single total. If a line item is not on the quote, it is not billed. The number reflects your specific plan; complexity is priced before consent, never discovered after.
How much time off work should I plan?
It depends on the procedure and on what your work asks of your body. As a rough guide: many desk-based patients return within one to two weeks; physically demanding work takes longer. Every procedure page on this site carries a week-by-week recovery arc, and you leave your consultation with a written recovery calendar for your own case.
Can I finance my procedure?
Yes, through independent lenders: PatientFi, CareCredit, and Alphaeon Credit. As an illustration, an $8,900 procedure over 60 months can work out from about $181 per month, subject to credit approval; rates and terms are set by the lender. The practice does not add financing fees of its own.
What happens if I need a revision?
Revisions are a reality of surgery; rhinoplasty revision rates nationally are commonly cited between 5 and 10 percent. Our policy is written into your quote: if Dr. Marlowe recommends a revision within the first year, there is no surgeon’s fee, and facility and anesthesia are quoted at cost. You will have that in writing before your first procedure.
