Terms of use

Effective date: January 1, 2026

Welcome to the Cedar Hollow Veterinary website. By using this site, you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the site — though you’re always welcome to call us instead.

Information, not veterinary advice

Everything on this site is general information about our practice and about pet health. It is not veterinary advice for your animal, and reading it does not create a veterinarian-client-patient relationship (VCPR). A VCPR is established only through an in-person examination of your pet. If your pet is unwell, contact us or an emergency hospital — don’t rely on a website, including this one.

Emergencies

This website is not monitored in real time. Do not use website forms to report an emergency. If your pet may be experiencing an emergency, call us during business hours or contact a 24/7 emergency hospital immediately.

Appointments + requests

Appointment requests made through this site are requests, not confirmed bookings, until we confirm by phone, text, or email. Same-day sick visits are triaged and scheduled by phone.

Pricing

Prices shown on this site are current standard fees and starting points, provided for transparency. Your pet’s exact fees depend on their size, age, health, and needs, and are confirmed in a written estimate before treatment. We update site pricing periodically; the written estimate governs.

Intellectual property

The content, design, and branding of this site belong to Cedar Hollow Veterinary or its licensors. You may not reproduce them commercially without permission.

Third-party services

Online scheduling and payment services linked from this site are operated by third parties under their own terms and privacy policies. Named emergency and specialty providers are independent practices; we are not responsible for their services or fees.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Cedar Hollow Veterinary is not liable for damages arising from your use of this website or reliance on its general information. Nothing in these terms limits our professional obligations to patients under North Carolina law.

Changes

We may update these terms from time to time; the effective date above reflects the latest revision. Continued use of the site means you accept the current version.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina.
