About Range

Two professions. One promise: a finish line.

Range Spine & Motion opened in 2016 with a simple bet: patients do better when the chiropractor and the physical therapist stop working in separate buildings. Ten years and a few thousand discharges later, we’d call the bet won.

The providers

Who you’ll be working with

Chiropractic

Dr. Elena Ruiz, DC

Elena founded Range in 2016 after five years in a high-volume clinic convinced her there was a better model than “adjust and repeat forever.” She earned her Doctor of Chiropractic at Palmer College of Chiropractic, holds a certificate in rehabilitation (Cert. MDT candidate), and treats with a mix of manipulation, mobilization, and instrument-assisted soft-tissue work — always matched to the exam, never a one-size ritual.

Patients describe her the same way twice: she explains everything, and she never sells. If a case belongs with Marcus, an orthopedist, or your primary care doctor, that’s where she sends it.

  • Doctor of Chiropractic, Palmer College of Chiropractic
  • Licensed in Colorado · practicing since 2011
  • Focus: spine care, headaches, auto-injury recovery

Physical therapy

Marcus Webb, DPT

Marcus joined Range in 2018 and built our rehab floor into what it is: less clinic, more training hall. He earned his Doctor of Physical Therapy at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus and is a board-certified Orthopaedic Clinical Specialist (OCS), with additional training in dry needling and blood-flow-restriction rehab.

A former college middle-distance runner, he treats return-to-sport like a promotion to be earned — you’ll pass strength and control benchmarks before he clears you, and you’ll leave with a program you can run in your own gym.

How we practice

Evidence-based. Finish-line honest.

You’ve maybe heard the horror story: a “free consult” that ends in a 50-visit prepaid care plan and a lifetime of three-times-a-week appointments. We built Range as the opposite of that story — and put it in writing.

Care here follows the evidence: active treatment over passive dependence, measured progress over vibes, and honest conversations when something isn’t working. It’s why local physicians refer to us — and why our average patient is discharged, not retained.

Our commitments, in writing

  • No prepaid long-term care plans. Ever. You pay per visit, and your plan has a discharge target from day one.
  • Re-test, don’t re-book. Progress is measured on standardized outcomes every few visits. Not improving? The plan changes or you get referred on.
  • Your consent, always. Every technique is explained first, and every technique has an alternative if you’d prefer one.
  • We refer without ego. About one in twenty assessments ends in a referral to a physician or specialist instead of a care plan here.
  • Prices before treatment. Verified benefits or posted self-pay rates — the number arrives before the care does.

The space

Less waiting room, more training floor

Our South College Avenue clinic is 3,200 square feet split between private treatment rooms and an open rehab floor — racks, sleds, bikes, and turf, not a row of curtained beds. You’ll rebuild strength on the same kind of equipment you’ll use after discharge, which is exactly the point.

  • Four private treatment rooms + open strength floor
  • Free parking at the door · Max BRT, Swallow station
  • Early hours from 7:00 AM · Saturday mornings
