Halyard Strength & Conditioning ("we", "us") runs this website. This page explains what we collect when you use it, why, and what you can ask us to do about it. It is written to be read, not to be survived.

What we collect

Only what you type into a form. The free-week form on our start page asks for your name, mobile number, email address, when you can train, roughly where you're starting from, and anything you choose to tell us in the notes box. Nothing else on this site collects information about you.

We do not set cookies. We do not run advertising pixels, session recorders, or third-party analytics. Fonts are served from our own server rather than a font network, so loading a page does not tell anyone else that you visited.

Why we have it

  • To reply to you about the free week or the question you asked.
  • To put you with the right coach for your first session.
  • To keep a record of your membership if you join.

We use what you send for those reasons and no others. We do not sell, rent or trade your details, and we do not add you to a marketing list because you once asked a question.

Health information

If you tell us about an injury, a surgery or a medical condition in the notes box, we treat it as confidential coaching information. It is shared with the coaches who write and run your training and with nobody else. We are not a healthcare provider and we do not hold medical records — please don't send us documents from your doctor through this website.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that don't turn into memberships are deleted after twelve months. Member records are kept for as long as you're a member and for seven years afterwards, because our accountant and the state of Maine require it.

Who else sees it

Our website host, our email provider, and the software we use to run memberships and class bookings. Each of them processes the data on our instructions only. We will hand information to law enforcement if we are legally required to, and we will tell you if we're allowed to.

Text messages

If you tick the consent box we'll text you about your free week and, if you become a member, about class changes and closures. Reply STOP to any message and it ends permanently — no confirmation call, no retention offer. Standard message rates apply.

Your choices

Ask us for a copy of what we hold, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email hello@halyardstrength.com or call (207) 555-0142 and we'll act within thirty days. You never have to give a reason.

Children

This site is not aimed at anyone under 16, and we don't knowingly collect their information. Our youth programme is arranged in person with a parent or guardian.

Changes

If this policy changes we'll update the date at the top. Material changes get an email to current members.

Template note

This policy describes a site that sets no cookies and runs no third-party tracking — which is true of the template as shipped. The moment you add analytics, a chat widget, an embedded booking tool or an advertising pixel, this page stops being accurate. Update it, and have a lawyer in your state read the result.
