Discounts

$20 off any plan

Students, teachers, nurses, and Portland Fire and Police take twenty dollars off every month. Tell a coach when you join — there's no form and we don't ask for proof.

Two people, one household

Second membership, $20 off

Partners, roommates, family at the same address: the second membership is twenty dollars a month cheaper, on any plan. It stacks with the discount above.

Not joining

Visiting, or just want one session

Drop-in

$22

One class, any class on the board. Travelling athletes welcome — call ahead so the coach knows you're coming and can put you somewhere sensible.

Ten-class card

$190

Ten classes to use within six months. Good if you're in Portland part of the year or your schedule genuinely won't take a membership.

1-to-1 session

$70

Sixty minutes with one coach, member or not. Form work, a plan for your home gym, or a return-to-training session after injury.

Drop-ins and class cards do not include Open Floor. First-timers should use the free week instead — it costs nothing and gets you a proper intake.

Coaching+

What $229 actually buys

It is not a fancier version of the class membership. It's a coach writing your training, checking your logged numbers every week, and adjusting the plan when life or your body changes.

Ask about a spot
  1. 01

    A ninety-minute start

Movement screen, current numbers, and a conversation about what you actually want — which is usually more specific than “get in shape.”

  2. 02

    A programme in your name

Written for your week, your equipment access and your history. You can run it in class, on the open floor, or half and half.

  3. 03

    Weekly check on your log

Your coach reads what you actually did, not what was written, and adjusts. That feedback loop is the whole product.

  4. 04

    Two 1-to-1 sessions a month

In person, on whatever the log says needs attention.

Honest limit

Each coach carries a maximum of twelve Coaching+ members, so it is occasionally full. If it is, we'll say so and put you on a list rather than take your money and stretch someone thin.

The fine print, in plain words

How you leave

Cancelling

Email us or tell a coach. Thirty days' notice, which means you'll be billed once more and then never again. There is no cancellation fee, no phone call you have to sit through, and no form only available in person on a Tuesday.

Pausing

Up to two months a year at no charge, for any reason — travel, surgery, a rough patch, money. Ask and it's done. Your rate is held.

Price changes

If we raise prices, existing members keep their rate for twelve months from the change, and we tell you sixty days ahead by email. We have raised prices once since 2017.

If you're injured

Pause it, or keep training around it — a broken wrist doesn't stop you squatting. Talk to your coach and we'll write something that works. We would rather adapt your training than lose you for three months.

Before you pay anything

Take the free week first.

Nobody should pick a plan before they've trained in the room. Seven days, unlimited classes, no card on file.
