Privacy policy

Marcel Avenue Studio ("we", "us") runs this website. This page sets out what we collect when you use it, why, and what you can ask us to do about it.

What we collect

Only what you type into the booking form: your name, mobile number, email address, which stylist and service you'd like, when suits you, and anything you choose to put in the notes box. Nothing else on this site collects information about you.

We do not set cookies. There are no advertising pixels, no session recorders and no third-party analytics. Fonts are served from our own server rather than a font network, so opening a page here does not tell anyone else that you visited.

Why we have it

• To offer you appointment times and confirm your booking.
• To text you a reminder the day before.
• To keep a record of your colour formula, so any stylist here can pick it up next time.

That's all. We do not sell, rent or trade your details, and we don't add you to a marketing list because you once booked a fringe trim.

Sensitive details

If you tell us about a scalp condition, an allergy, a previous reaction to dye, a pregnancy, or medication that affects your hair, we treat it as confidential. It is recorded on your client card, seen only by the stylists who work on you, and used for one purpose: doing your hair safely. We are not a medical practice and we don't hold medical records — please don't send us documents from your doctor through this website.

Photographs

We ask before photographing anyone, every single time, and no is a complete answer that changes nothing about your appointment. If you've said yes and later change your mind, tell us and the photograph comes down the same day — from the site and from social media.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that don't become appointments are deleted after twelve months. Client records, including colour formulas, are kept while you're a client and for three years after your last visit, then deleted.

Who else sees it

Our website host, our email provider, and the booking software we use to run the diary. Each processes the information on our instructions only. We will hand information to law enforcement if legally required, and will tell you if we're allowed to.

Text messages

If you tick the consent box we'll text you about your appointment and send a reminder the day before. Reply STOP to end it permanently — no confirmation call, no retention offer. Standard message rates apply.

Your choices

Ask for a copy of what we hold, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email hello@marcelavenue.com or call (912) 555-0168 and we'll act within thirty days. You never have to give a reason.

Children

This site isn't aimed at children and we don't knowingly collect their information. Appointments for under-16s are booked by a parent or guardian, who stays in the studio.

Changes

If this policy changes we'll update the date at the top.
