When we're not the answer
If you want to drag blocks around a visual editor, a builder genuinely fits you better. If your site needs accounts, carts or custom software, hire the designer. And if you never want to touch a file — that is our done-for-you launch, which is us being the designer at template economics.
The questions people actually ask
Why is a one-time template cheaper than a website builder?
Builders charge monthly because they host a runtime your site depends on. A hand-written HTML site has no runtime — you buy the files once, host them anywhere free (Cloudflare Pages, Netlify), and nothing meters you. Over three years a $23/mo builder plan costs about $828; the template is $49–$349 once.
Is a template as good as hiring a designer?
For most local businesses the honest answer is: the template gets you 90% of a $5K custom build for 2% of the price, because it is the same conversion structure reused. What about SiteSwan and reseller platforms?
SiteSwan-style resellers sell you a site on their platform for roughly $499 down plus about $50 a month — you rent it. Our templates cost less than the down payment alone and the files are yours outright. If you later want hosting, care and edits handled for you, that is an optional Care plan, not a requirement.
Do I need to know how to code?
You need to be comfortable opening an HTML file in a text editor, changing the words, and saving. There is no visual editor. If that is not you, the done-for-you launch exists exactly for that.
